Action Plan

next we are going to get a few more shots and continue with the editing and mabe make a few more improvements from the feedback we had. we will also be focusing on our green screen backgrounds and adding more interesting backgrounds and keep on up dating our blog. i think we gave a clear idea from our rough cut what i music would look like finished, also we are going to come in extra hours edit our video. our group is pleased with our video so far.

Rough Cut Feed Back

Camera Work: good varity of shots and locations, fits well with genre, steady camera, good zooming,.....someone said we needed more of a varity of shots

Editing: editng fits in palce with music, good pace and angles, difernt shots put together , rapid shots, editing looks sharp eg the lights changing colour, good lpsyncing, runs along smoothly

Effects: Good cutaway especially the car, pushing shot of man standing at end is great and creates mystery, editing sits in pace with music, fast motion works well,....green screen needs to be done

Mise en scene/Perfomance: props are realistic eg car, studio mike, club etc and cigar, fits with lyrics, speacker shots effective, fits well with the genre, good use of bling, chain , necklace, props work well, very sterotypical, works well with song, convincing and fun, perfomance mixed with cut aways, great locations, added in limos, good perfomance, really got into it, good energy and very believable

continuity: fits with lyrics, it makes sense, smooth, obviously knows words,.......a bit out of sync with music

Filming

so far our filming has gone well, I think that we have more than enough footage including lots of performance shots and our locations have been varied so we could predict that our finished video may look well structured but one thing we may have to consider when it comes to the editing is that we will have to be careful about placing shots together so it clearly reflects its genre well, this means that the majority of the shots in our video must be performance shots also we found that we were unable to do some of the shots in our music video but we easily managed without these shots due to the amount of footage we have.

First Day Filming

On our first session filming we got a lot of footage. Our main aim was to get the shots for the urban scenes and scenery for cuts. We filmed at first in a garage are with a lot of grafitti this gave us the atmosphere we were looking for. We did a varity of shots from mid shots to close ups. The footage is a bit dark but this might go well with the theme as it could enfasis the differnce between the urban inviroment and the more upper class one.
We also did some shots in a studio. These were some of our most impresive shots and look the most professional. It was a pretty good first day as we have a lot of footage
